MP3: Midwest Photographers Project

The Museum of Contemporary Photography (MoCP) first inaugurated a collection of work titled the Midwest Photographer’s Project in 1982. Since then, the collection has grown and currently consists of “over 1,000 photographs from 75 photographers” living and photographing out in the middle of the United States.

The project is… well, fantastic.

Among the artists included in MP3 are Kelli Connell, Justin Newhall, and Brian Ulrich, all of whom will be taking part in a panel discussion at the Aperture Foundation in NYC:
