Jörg Colberg shares a great interview with German photographer Peter Bialobrezeski on Conscientious.

So is bigger better? Is there a uniquely German style of photography? Let’s find out!

Also in the interview, Bialobrezeski is asked if he had to pick a single photography book to bring to the “deserted island,” which one would that be. His answer (and probably mine for the moment, too) is Joel Sternfeld’s American Prospects.

Read the full conversation here.

Jörg has also had conversations with a number of other interesting contemporary photographers which are equally worth reading. He has interviewed, just to name a few, Brian Ulrich, Alec Soth, Michael Wolf, Chris Jordan, Paul Shambroom, and Richard Renaldi.

... Now, that’s how to write a blog.
