$1000 U.S. Federal Reserve Note, 1934

Today I recieved a letter letting me know that I was awareded a small travel grant. Very good news! We’ll see where exactly this takes me and, of course, the work when the Fall rolls around.

The second “grant” of the day was a beautiful and priceless gift from friend, and photographer, Grant Willing. He gave me a print of the above image, which I took some time to frame this afternoon and hang on my wall.
