Film Pile 05/04/07

Tomorrow morning I’ll be leaving for Edinburgh, Scotland — and I’ll be “out of the office” until June 15th. Leave some comments on the blog for when I get back!

I bet you can’t guess what I’ll be doing there.

Oh, and does anyone know of any Scottish photographers and/or interesting projects on Scotland that I should take a look at if I haven’t already?

    Shane,
So much potential with all that film! But make sure you take it out of the foil wrappers, and put them all in one big ziploc - much easier to hand inspect!
    Safe and happy travels -

    Shane,
Make sure to check out the Portfolio Gallery (and Magazine), Fruitmarket Gallery and Stills. Oh and a mandatory 2am bar closing meat pie.

Make sure to check out the Forth Rail Bridge (near Edinburgh). I never heard of it and was truly amazed to catch sight of the thing in passing from my train window. Its unique design and monumental size are a true modern day (1890) wonder!

Thanks, everyone for the kind words and suggestions.

DB — I had a moment to use internet while in Scotland and visited Jeremy’s website. Much apprecaited!

Brian — I wished I had had time to stop into Fruitmarket Gallery. It looked very promising online and I’ve had a few other people tell me to visit as well. That’s one of the things I regret not doing while there. But I spent three of my days driving around the Highlands taking pictures so hopefully that’ll be ‘fruitful’ in it’s own way. Next time, then, for sure. Oh, I hear I may be seeing you on Friday for the ANAP opening at jb? Looking forward to it.
