Wow, interesting, zen in a facile understanding of zen. But my impression is most modern photographers fall into the “making pictures” rather than “taking pictures” camp. I suspect Capa would have had a lot of argument from his contemporaries as well. Taking pictures doesn’t not seem very empowered, but it does strike me as more humble.
