The Cave Singers: Dancing On Our Graves

Saturday, October 27, 2007

I enjoyed watching this new music video for the The Cave Singers‘ song “Dancing On Our Graves” from their album Invitation Songs, released just last month on Matador Records. The video was directed by Mike Ott.

There is a photographer I am thinking of who makes brightly flashed photographs of people being “saved” (often reaching toward the camera, eyes closed). I believe the work was published in an issue of PDNedu. Bonus points to anyone who can tell me the name of the photographer!

I don’t know the photographer..but that’s one of the best music videos i’ve seen in a while..

Maybe you’re thinking of The Face of Forgiveness, by Steven Katzman, published by powerHouse a year or two ago.
