(from “Africa”)

Just recently, I discovered Stefan Ruiz’s quite powerful Africa series, photographs from the Lukole Refugee Camp in Ngara, Tanzania. Also worth seeing on his website is his Cuba series, photographs from Rene Vallejo Psychiatric Hospital in Camaguey, Cuba. Then, for a good chuckle (and break from the seriousness of some of his other work), check out Rodeo Queens. Obviously a very versatile photographer.
