Simon Roberts shot over 5,000 frames while traveling across Russia working on his Motherland project. Over on his blog, We English, he writes about his process of editing down to the final book edit of 153 photographs. Great post! Read it here.

  1. Simon Roberts says:

    Thanks for the post Shane.
I just want to clarify that Motherland was shot on a Mamiya 7 with 220 film, not 5×4″.
We English, on the other hand, has all been shot on 5×4″.
    regards,
    Simon
