Maciek Jasik got in touch to share some of his work with me. I was especially pleased to see his project Pueblos Jovenes, which is an intimate look at life in the shantytowns of Lima, Peru. Maciek says he’s not completely done with the edit at this point but I think it’s looking great so far. I’m really glad he wasn’t afraid to mix color and black and white throughout the series.
